Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Guwahati Arrival – Transfer to Dirang
Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and meet our representative. Drive to Dirang, known for its rustic charm and the Monpa tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. En route, visit the Sessa Orchid Sanctuary and Tippi Orchid Center. Arrive in Dirang and check into your hotel.
Relax and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 2 - Transfer from Dirang to Tawang
After an early breakfast, drive to Tawang, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Arunachal Pradesh. En route, visit the picturesque valley of Dirang and stop at Sela Pass (13703 ft) to admire the breathtaking views. Continue driving through the scenic landscapes and colorful tribes to reach Tawang. Check into your hotel upon arrival.
In the evening, visit the Craft Center and a traditional Monpa Village to experience the local culture. Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 3 - Tawang Local Sightseeing
Start your day with an early breakfast and proceed to visit Bumla Pass, located at a height of 15,200ft, which serves as the border between India and China. After visiting Bumla Pass, return to Y-Junction and then visit Maduri Lake and PTso Lake. Explore the Gurudwara located on the way to Madhuri Lake.
Return to Tawang and visit the famous Tawang Monastery, founded during the 17th century. Later, embark on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gomap, the oldest Ani Gompa in Tawang, situated amidst picturesque natural scenery.
In the evening, visit Urgelling Monastery and the Monpa Village. Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 4 - Tawang to Bomdila
After breakfast, drive back to Bomdila. En route, visit the 1962 Indo-China War Memorial dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, known for his heroism during the war. Continue driving to Bomdila, enjoying the scenic beauty of snow-clad peaks like Kangto, Nyegi Kangsang, and Gorichen.
Upon arrival in Bomdila, check into your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Bomdila.
Day 5 - Bomdila to Guwahati and Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. Upon arrival, if time permits, visit the local market. Later, you will be dropped off at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
