Your tour begins as you arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Meet our representative and begin a scenic drive towards Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, famously known as the “Scotland of the East.” En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake, a serene reservoir surrounded by lush hills – perfect for a quick photo break. Arrive in Shillong by evening and check into your hotel. Enjoy a leisurely evening stroll around Police Bazar or relax at your hotel.

After breakfast, set out to explore Shillong’s best attractions. Start your day with a visit to Shillong Peak, offering panoramic views of the entire city, followed by the cascading Elephant Falls. Continue to the Don Bosco Museum, an interactive cultural center showcasing North East India’s rich tribal heritage. Visit Ward’s Lake, an artificial lake surrounded by gardens, and the majestic Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians. Return to your hotel and unwind.

Post breakfast, begin an adventurous day trip to Dawki, a small town on the India-Bangladesh border. Marvel at the stunning Umngot River, known for its crystal-clear waters, and indulge in boating. Later, proceed to Mawlynnong, acclaimed as the cleanest village in Asia. Explore the village lanes, walk to the Living Root Bridge in Riwai, and soak in scenic vistas from the Sky Viewpoint. Return to Shillong in the evening.

Post breakfast, drive to the mesmerizing town of Cherrapunjee, renowned for its record-breaking rainfall and dramatic landscapes. Visit natural marvels like Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall, the multi-tiered Seven Sisters Falls, and the sprawling Mawsmai Cave. Stop by the panoramic Eco Park and take in views of Bangladesh’s lowlands in the distance. After a day full of adventure and nature, return to Shillong.
