Your adventure begins as you arrive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport or Guwahati Railway Station, where our representative greets you for a scenic three-hour drive to Shillong, often called the "Scotland of the East."

Upon reaching Shillong, check into your hotel and take a moment to refresh before heading out for some local exploration. The first stop is Ward’s Lake, a tranquil spot ideal for a peaceful walk amidst nature. As evening falls, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Police Bazaar, where you can shop for local crafts and enjoy a hearty meal of Khasi cuisine at a nearby restaurant. Afterward, settle in for a comfortable overnight stay in Shillong.

After a delicious breakfast, set off on a two-hour drive to Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra, a place renowned as one of the wettest on Earth. The day’s highlight is a visit to Nohkalikai Falls, where water plunges dramatically into a turquoise pool surrounded by lush greenery—an awe-inspiring sight.

Next, venture into the Mawsmai Caves, a limestone marvel that offers an accessible yet thrilling caving experience. After exploring, enjoy lunch at a local eatery with stunning views, soaking in the region’s natural splendor. On the return journey to Shillong, make a brief stop at Elephant Falls for a quick photo opportunity before settling back into your hotel for the night.

The third day starts early with a three-hour drive to Dawki, home to the mesmerizing Umngot River, famed for its glass-like clarity that reveals the riverbed below. A boat ride here feels almost surreal as you glide over the transparent waters. From Dawki, continue to Mawlynnong, celebrated as the "Cleanest Village in Asia." Here, a short walk leads you to the Living Root Bridges, incredible structures woven by the Khasi tribe using the roots of rubber trees—a testament to human ingenuity and nature’s harmony.

After a day of exploration, return to Shillong by dusk for a restful night at your hotel.

Following breakfast, embark on a two-and-a-half-hour drive to Jowai, nestled in the picturesque Jaintia Hills. The star attraction here is Krang Suri Falls, a stunning cascade perfect for photography or a refreshing dip, depending on the season. Afterward, wander through Jowai’s vibrant local markets, where you can interact with the Jaintia tribe and gain insights into their rich traditions and way of life.

As the day winds down, head back to Shillong, arriving in time to unwind and spend another comfortable night at your hotel.

Your final day begins with a hearty breakfast, followed by a visit to Shillong Peak, offering sweeping panoramic views of the city and its surrounding hills—a perfect farewell to Meghalaya’s landscapes. Next, explore Lady Hydari Park, a charming green space featuring a mini zoo, ideal for a relaxed stroll.

After checking out of your hotel, begin the three-hour drive back to Guwahati. If time allows, pause at the serene Umiam Lake, a shimmering expanse framed by hills, before arriving at the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying memories of an incredible adventure.
