Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, begin your scenic drive to Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya. On the way, stop by the breathtaking Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani, where you can enjoy the serene landscape and click some memorable photos. Once in Shillong, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, strolling through the local markets or relaxing at the hotel.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast and then proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Shillong. Visit the picturesque Elephant Falls and take in panoramic views from Shillong Peak. Continue to the lush Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Museum, and the botanical beauty of Lady Hydari Park. You may also explore the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians and enjoy leisure time at Police Bazaar in the evening before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, depart for Kaziranga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Assam and home to the famed One-Horned Rhinoceros. Upon arrival, check into a nature lodge or hotel near the park. Enjoy a relaxed evening amidst the wild, or opt for a short nature walk or visit a nearby tribal village. Rest well as the next day brings a thrilling safari experience.

Wake up early and head for a morning Jeep Safari in the Central Range or Western Range of Kaziranga. Spot rhinos, elephants, deer, wild buffalo, and a variety of exotic birds in their natural habitat. After the safari, return for breakfast and then begin your drive back to Guwahati. On arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening. You may explore the Brahmaputra riverfront or opt for a river cruise on the Brahmaputra if time permits.

On your final day, enjoy a spiritual start by visiting the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India.
