Itinerary

Meet our representative by morning and transfer to Shillong - also known as the Scotland of the East. En-route visit Umium Lake - Also known as Barapani Lake and enjoy the serene view of the valley along the lake. You can also have local delicacies at the roadside stalls near the viewpoint. Then we shall proceed to visit the Golf Course - one of the oldest in India. Post visit, check in to your hotel. Then we shall proceed to visit Ward's Lake, Mary's Cathedral, All Saint's Cathedral and Lady Hydra Park.

By evening, we will visit Police Bazar and Bara Bazar where you can go for shopping and hangout among numerous Cafes, Pubs and Restaurant. Return back to hotel. Overnight.

Today morning, post breakfast, set out for a day trip to Jowai. In Jowai, we will visit Krangshuri Water Falls, Tyrshi Waterfall, Nartiang Monoliths and Durga Mandir. Then we shall transfer back to Shillong. Enroute, we will visit Grand Laitlum Canyon - made famous by the movie Rock On 2.

In the evening, you're free to visit the local market. Overnight in Shillong

Today morning, post breakfast, we shall proceed to Cherrapunjee - 2nd Wettest Place on Earth. Enroute, we shall visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls - one of the major attractions of Shillong. On way to Cherrapunjee, we shall pass through Mawdok Dympep Valley. In Cherrapunjee, we will visit Seven Sister's Waterfall, Dainthelen Falls, Wei Sawdong Waterfall, Nohkalikai Fall, Eco Park and Mawsmai Cave. Post lunch, we shall visit Arwah Cave.Overnight in Shillong.

Today morning, post breakfast, we will travel to Dawki - The border town between India and Bangladesh. In Dawki, we will visit the border post and go for country boat ride in Umngot River - The river with transparent water. We will then proceed to Mawlynnong - Asia's Cleanest Village. You can take a stroll around the village to observe the cleanliness and interact with the locals for inspiration. Here, you can also have local delicacies in Lunch. Post lunch, take a walk to the Sky Bridge - Made of Bamboo - to have a bird's eye view of Bangladesh. You can also check out the Balancing Rock. Then we will proceed to return to Shillong. On way, we shall visit Riwai Village. Riwai Village host the Single Decker Living Root Bridge - one of the famous attractions. Evening, you're free for leisurely activities. Overnight in Shillong.

Today morning, post breakfast, transfer to Guwahati. On the way visit Don Bosco Museum. Check into Hotel. In the evening, you can visit Brahmaputra River Dinner Cruise at Alfresco Grand which starts at 07:00PM (Chargeable at Rs. 1750 Per head) or choose to visit local market. Overnight in Hotel.

Today morning, post breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple atop Nilachal Hills. Then depart to Kaziranga National Park which is situated at 240 Km from Guwahati.

Kaziranga National Park is one of the most popular places to visit in Assam. It is home to the largest population of one-horned rhinoceros in the world. The national park is a treasure trove of exotic species of flora and fauna. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is situated on the floodplains of the mighty River Brahmaputra. This national park is also officially listed as the Tiger Reserves and home to one of the largest populations of tigers in the world. With the sprawling area of 430 square kilometres, the national park is thriving with many wildlife species which includes wild buffalo, gaur, leopard, stag, deer, hog, wild boar, etc.

On arrival, you will get assistance for check-in at the hotel. The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can take a stroll nearby the resort and bask in the serenity of nature. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.

After an early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point for Kaziranga Elephant Safari in the Western Range. Watch the famous One-Horn Rhino within the jungle from stone throwing distance. After the elephant safari, return to the Resort. After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga Central Range for the Kaziranga Jeep Safari.

The Central zone of the Kaziranga National Park is the prime zone for the ecotourism in the Kaziranga forest. The entry gate to the central zone is situated just about two km from the National Highway passing through the village of Kohora. The Kaziranga Jungle Safari offers you some spectacular sighting of the Rhinos grazing or wallowing in the large grassland, a herd of elephants with having the adorable baby elephants to big old elephants in the herd, and many other species of the wild flora and fauna of this tourism zone.

Overnight in Kaziranga

Today morning, post breakfast, transfer to Dimapur. Dimapur is one of the largest cities in Nagaland. It was the capital of the Dimasa Kachari Kingdom in the middle ages. You can go to Kohima which is located at 40 kms (2hrs 15min) drive from Dimapur. You can visit the Science Centre, Kachari Ruins, Green Park and Nagaland Zoological Park. After visiting all these places and enjoying the sightseeing at Dimapur return for an overnight stay.

Greet the early morning sun and enjoy your delicious breakfast. Then, transfer to Kohima and get ready to enjoy the local sightseeing tour of Kohima. First, visit the famous Kohima War Cemetery, where you will learn about the martyrs of the Second World War at Kohima.

Later, you will be transferred to Bara Basti, the second largest village in Asia. Next up is the Nagaland State Museum, which depicts the history and culture of Nagaland and its tribes. It also houses Naga artifacts of about 15 tribal groups.

After a fantastic day, return to the hotel for a sound sleep.

Today we have the day at leisure. We can complete the sightseeing whatever we have not done on the previous day. Overnight.

Kickstart your day with a healthy breakfast and drive towards Khonoma. After reaching, witness the terrace cultivation and interact with the local tribe to learn more about their lifestyle and culture. Mainly the resident Naga tribes here are traditionally dependent on nature for food and use strong hunting practices. In the evening, return to the hotel in Kohima for a comfortable sleep.

Today morning, post breakfast, Transfer to Imphal, the capital of Manipur. Once there, visit Kangla Fort, Khwairamband Keithel or Ima Market (Women Local Market) and Govindaji Temple. SHRI SHRI GOVINDAJEE TEMPLE – is an elegant Vaishnavite shrine located in Imphal, the capital city of Manipur. It stands adjacent to the palace of the former rulers of the state. The temple was built in the early 18th century by Rajarishi Bhagyachandra. It has a beautiful image of Lord Vishnu, which is flanked by the idols of Lord Balram and Lord Krishna. Shri Govindajee Temple is simple in its architecture. It has two golden domes, a paved courtyard and a large raised congregation hall. Overnight.

After breakfast, we will begin our excursion to Loktak Lake, located 48 kilometers away, visiting several key sites. Our first stop is Keibul Lamjao National Park, renowned as the world's only floating national park and home to the endangered dancing deer, Sangai. Next, we will explore Loktak Lake, the largest freshwater lake in the northeast region. We will also visit the INA Memorial, where the Indian tricolor flag was first hoisted by the Indian National Army (INA) at Moirang. Lastly, we will explore Sendra Park and its viewpoint. We will return to Imphal for an overnight stay, reflecting on the day's rich experiences.

Today morning, post breakfast, we will transfer to Moreh village by car. Moreh is the border of India and Myanmar. It is the border town of Manipur on the national highway Number 39, surrounded by hills, mountains & rivers which is 110 kilometres from Imphal. It is located on the Indo – Myanmar Road, a commercial town attracting a large numbers of people from neighbouring places.

It is only 5 kilometres away from Tamu, its Myanmar counterpart and is especially the best place for shopping & business. The recent opening of the Border trade turned Moreh into an important commercial hub in North – East. Just on the other side of the border, at Namphanglong, there is a big Myanmar’s market complex where all kinds of Thai and Chinese consumer goods are available at a reasonable low price. You can have a small visit to Tamu (Myanmar part by submitting your i card). Night stay at Imphal.

After breakfast we shall start our journey to Ukhrul ( 6 to 7 hrs journey). Ukhul is a picturesque hill town of Manipur – lies about 84 km kilometers to the North East of Imphal. The place is inhabited by Tangkhul Tribes. The life and art of Tangkhuls are attractive and captivating. Their different costumes and wears, utensils, architecture, monumental erections and memorial set-up depict their dexterity in art, which also speak of their sense of beauty and finesse. Overnight in Ukhrul.

Today, early morning have a small hike to the Sirui Lily hills . If you can climb 1.5 kms you will enjoy the savana and exotic views. Later after lunch you can proceed to Imphal. Evening you're free for leisure or visit local market. Overnight in Imphal.

Today morning, post breakfast, we shall return to Imphal and then transfer you to Imphal Airport / Bus Stop for onward journey. Tour End.
