Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Guwahati, Transfer to Shillong, and Local Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. Begin your journey to Shillong, often referred to as the "Scotland of the East." Along the way, stop at the picturesque Umium Lake, also known as Barapani Lake, to admire its serene beauty and enjoy local delicacies at nearby stalls.
Continue your journey to Shillong, where you will check into your hotel. Spend the evening exploring Ward's Lake, a picturesque spot ideal for boating and relaxation, Mary's Cathedral, All Saint's Cathedral, and Lady Hydra Park. Conclude the day with a visit to Police Bazar and Bara Bazar for shopping and dining options.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Transfer to Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, embark on a journey to Cherrapunjee, known as the second wettest place on Earth. On the way, visit the stunning Laitlum Grand Canyon, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Continue to Shillong Peak for breathtaking views of the city and the majestic Elephant Falls, one of Shillong's major attractions.
Journey through the scenic Mawdok Dympep Valley to reach Cherrapunjee, where you will visit the Seven Sister's Waterfall, Dainthlen Falls, Wei Sawdong Waterfall, and the awe-inspiring Nohkalikai Falls. Discover the beauty of Eco Park and the fascinating Mawsmai Cave. After lunch, visit the Arwah Cave, known for its ancient limestone formations.
Spend the night in Cherrapunjee, surrounded by lush landscapes.
Day 3 - Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before driving to Tyrna Village, the starting point of your trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. This challenging trek involves navigating over 3,000 steps through sacred groves of trees and across narrow suspended bridges over rivers. Experience the thrill of walking over the roots, soaking in the pleasant sounds of waterfalls, and marveling at the picturesque forest. Reach Nongriat to admire the double-decker living root bridges and swim in the natural pools below. Continue to Rainbow Falls, where you can witness a stunning rainbow if the weather permits.
Trek back to Tyrna and return to Cherrapunjee for the night.
Day 4 - Cherrapunjee to Dawki, Shnongpedeng Village, Mawlynnong Village, and Return to Shillong via Jowai
After breakfast, travel to Dawki, a picturesque border town between India and Bangladesh. Enjoy a country boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River and visit Shnongpedeng to admire the transparent water.
Continue to Mawlynnong, celebrated as Asia's Cleanest Village. Stroll through the village, interact with the locals, and savor local delicacies for lunch. Explore the Sky Bridge, a bamboo structure offering panoramic views of Bangladesh, and the intriguing Balancing Rock.
On your way back to Shillong, stop at Riwai Village to see the Single Decker Living Root Bridge. Spend the evening at Krangshuri Waterfall before returning to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 5 - Shillong to Kaziranga National Park
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a scenic journey to Kaziranga National Park.
This renowned park is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, boasting the largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses in the world. As you travel, soak in the beauty of the landscapes and the charm of the villages dotting the route. Upon arrival at Kaziranga, you will be assisted with check-in at your hotel. Kaziranga's sprawling 430 square kilometers are home to a variety of wildlife, including wild buffalo, gaur, leopard, deer, and more. The park is also a designated Tiger Reserve, offering a chance to spot these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 6 - Kaziranga Jungle Safari and Transfer to Guwahati
Early in the morning, embark on an exciting Elephant Safari in the Western Range of Kaziranga National Park. This thrilling experience allows you to get up close to the majestic one-horned rhinoceros and other wildlife species in their natural habitat.
After the safari, return to your resort for a hearty breakfast. Following breakfast, head to the Kaziranga Central Range for a Jeep Safari, which is another fantastic way to explore the diverse wildlife and landscapes of the park. The Central Range is known for its rich biodiversity and offers sightings of various animals, including the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, tigers, elephants, and more. Day 7 - Visit to Kamakhya Temple and Departure
